Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Jonathan Bumba is responsible for all revenue generation and growth activities, including GTM strategy and planning, sales model/motion design and daily sales execution. In addition to his daily revenue operations responsibilities, Jonathan manages all analyst and public relations as well as Cloud Technology Partners thought leadership activities including The Doppler, CTP’s cloud news and best practices publication.
With over 20 years of sales and marketing leadership experience, Jonathan has specialized in bringing transformational cloud solutions to market. Most recently, he helped EMC define the GTM for several software defined storage products, such as ViPR and Scale IO. Before EMC, he helped Rackspace launch its enterprise private and hybrid cloud, powered by OpenStack. Prior to his tenure at Rackspace, Jonathan spent almost a decade at Microsoft Corporation, including serving as the first World Wide Sales Leader for Microsoft Azure.
In addition to his professional career, Jonathan serves as a member of the board of directors for Let it Flow. Let it Flow is a charitable foundation founded by Nyjah Huston and is dedicated to bringing clean water and sanitation to under privileged populations worldwide. Jonathan graduated from Illinois State University in 1993 with a BS degree in Finance and Law, and currently lives in Austin, Texas with his wife Cynthia and two sons, Grayson and Zander.
