Vice President of Global Alliances
As the Vice President of Global Alliances, Rob Lancaster is responsible for managing CTP’s alliances and business development activities. This includes overseeing strategic partnerships with AWS, Google and Azure, development of a best-of-breed cloud tools ecosystem, and leading new initiatives to help scale the business.
Having spent the early part of his career advising software vendors on product and go-to-market strategy, Rob applied these experiences to the development of a global channel and alliances program for Fast Search & Transfer, which was acquired by Microsoft for $1.2 billion in 2008. Upon joining Microsoft Rob took accountability for driving global system integrator strategy for the $1.5 billion-plus SharePoint Server business and worked closely with Microsoft’s strategic alliance partners. Upon moving to Cloudera, Rob led system integrator strategy as Director of Business Development. At Cloudera, Rob was among the first business hires and played a key role in the formation of an extensive ecosystem of big data partners.
When he’s not helping to scale the business or make partners successful, Rob spends time with his family, riding his mountain bike or struggling with his golf game.
Rob graduated from Roanoke College with a Bachelors of Arts in English and Communications.
